Feeding Frenzy

At this time of year Fortune Lake provides a lush feeding habitat for wildlife such as these two elegant Canada Geese.  But what seemed unusual to me was how low the water level was in the lake for this time of year with muddy shorelines exposed, something I’m more accustomed to seeing on this lake at the end of summer. (Most likely due to the water draw from Camp Fortune for the ski hills.) The water was so low that yummy plant growth was poking through the water surface,  These two were in seventh heaven lazily floating around, barely catching their breath in between foraging dives.
