Another beautiful lake – Lusk Lake – with its captivating shoreline, much like the Group of Seven scenes with rocky outcroppings and tall pine trees leaning slightly into the lake. It was a hot dry day earlier this week when we hiked there, and because of the extreme heat the aroma from the pine needles was pungent and dry as if they could spontaneously ignite right before my eyes. It was delightful soaking our feet in the cool water as the minnows tried nibbling our toes.
