There’s something special about how the sky transforms itself at dusk. It feels awesome and immense, as if holding it all together as it stretches from one horizon to the other. I hadn’t paid much attention to the sky until this moment, getting myself ready to return home. Now, captivated by the changing light, the subtleties of colours and the brilliance of the moon, I pause, slow down, abandon my habitual preoccupation with time and my ‘getting there’ way of being, and take in a deep breath of this beauty. The gift of a late afternoon January sky.
