I arrived in Meech Creek Valley just in time to see the last traces of fog on its way out. I wasn’t expecting fog there at this time of year so while I did arrive quite early in the morning, especially considering my drive from Nepean, I didn’t arrive early enough to catch its full splendour. I find the views in this valley captivating and at times breathtaking, regardless of the season or time of day. So, partial fog, even on its way out felt stunning especially when it was unexpected.
This last shot is my favourite view – almost the full length of the valley seen while descending trail #50 on the return to P16. I never tire of this.
