Last week I walked into Carman Lake to spend time exploring the creek that empties the lake eventually into Meech Creek. There is a higher flow in the creek now that the beaver dam is no longer there so I anticipated some attractions. There was a slight snow cover remaining after the first real snowfall of November 19th and the creek was icing up beautifully in places, inviting me to enjoy capturing the many shapes of ice created by the water flow in these colder temperatures.
