I know its not really the same thing, but this morning as I gazed at this stretch of the Chelsea Creek it felt a bit like that song – Turn Around – singing about time passing like a blink of the eye with the growth of a little girl. Saturday morning when my friend Jill and I were walking the Sugar Bush Trail with Callum, we checked out this spot. There was no snow on the ground and the icicles in the creek were breathtaking. And there I was with only my iPhone camera. I returned this morning before going to church to capture a better quality photo, and in a blink of an eye the scene was transformed over night by the 9 cm snowfall so I had lost the opportunity to catch icicles in detail.
Here are both perspectives of Chelsea Creek in early December.
