Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder

by Margaret on March 7, 2018

Its been four weeks since my last ski, mostly due to weather and poor trail conditions.  Yes, I was in France for some of that time but while I was away Ottawa received torrential rainfalls playing havoc with the trail conditions. So I was elated when I woke up this morning to snowfall. Admittedly, not a lot, but snowfall none the less, and I wasn’t going to miss it.

As I skied along it felt a little bit like  my first ski of the season last year which is borne out in these two photos – the one above taken this morning near the end of the ski season, and the one below near the beginning of last year’s ski season just over a year ago.  Enduring beauty, in the eye of the beholder.
