A lovely sunny day with temperatures around zero today welcome in the season of spring. This week I explored a few creeks as I love capturing the transformation from the stillness of winter snow covered creeks to the energy of their spring flow. While each creek has its own unique way of transitioning, it was the theme of emergence that I was present to. The rocks, boulders and beaver dams, now distinguishable under the melting snow, seemed to be saying, we’re ready to come out, it’s almost time. There’s an energy of emergence in the woods right now.
