Dunlop Picnic Field, Revisited

by Margaret on May 4, 2019

I love my times with dear Callum hiking in the Gats, but today I thoroughly enjoyed an early morning photo outing with a friend exploring the creeks that flow into Dunlop Picnic Field – without him.  His energy is a delight to be around with his youthful and abundant curiosity, however it definitely is a distraction for composing photos.    I loved having the time and patience this morning to see patterns in the water flow and colours in the rocks.  The water flow had dropped considerably since last week revealing more of the colourful rocks.  Perhaps next week I’ll let Callum  play around in the creek and simply enjoy his abundant energy without trying to take photos.
