The cloud cover this morning emphasized the colours as I was driving up the Fortune Parkway. When I gazed out over one of the expansive marsh areas it certainly appeared as if the marsh was surrounded by a colourful curtain, created by the trees. The contrasts in the colours were striking. It reminded me of the days when the National Arts Centre would display the exceptionally colourful woven curtain. I haven’t seen that for years and don’t think it ever gets displayed any more, which is quite sad, as it was truly inspiring. At least we can go to the Gatineau Park to experience the beauty at this time of year. (click on the image to see its fullness)
