Today I had two intimate experiences taking photos in the Gats. One was very early in the morning surrounded by fog (before the coffee shops opened in Old Chelsea!) and the other, a little bit later, wandering the creeks with Callum. While different, they were both delightful. I had some time to kill this morning, so to say, before I was to pick up my daughter after a medical appointment. What this generally means is that I’m not able to sink into what I’m doing as I keep checking the clock. But there was something about joining Callum in his exploration of the creeks that allowed me to just sink in and be totally absorbed by the creeks. At one point I was sitting on a damp rocky bank trying to take photos as he was frolicking around. His joy as he found sticks was contagious and I relaxed and became so connected with the beauty of the leaves and rocks amidst the flowing water that I captured a number of photos that I love. Here are just a few that I hope you enjoy as well.
