Patterns in Fog

It was the statement “patches of early morning fog” in the weather forecast that had me set out early Sunday morning for Meech Creek Valley, hoping to catch some of it.  The thing is, you just never know what’s going to appear, so all I can do is just go.  I was lucky, as it was stunning.  Lovely blue sky above the fog and the moon still hanging around in the sky.  What captured my eye, however, were the patterns on the ground from the recent haying activities, the distinctness of the creative patterns set off by the foggy backdrop.
