I came out early to see the colours because they were advancing so fast, and found myself sitting on a wet rock watching Callum play in Chelsea Creek. Off in the distance I thought I saw something move – or was it just a rock? They all look so grey and the same. So I picked up my camera and zoomed in and saw this beauty in my lens fishing in the early morning for his/her breakfast. What a gift to be able to sit there and observe this graceful creature moving one step at a time across the creek swiftly catching fish. A perfect meditation to start the day, leaving images of its graceful motion in my mind for the rest of the day.
Here’s a photo of peaceful Chelsea Creek.
