When I arrived, Carman Lake appeared just so dull, until I got closer to the water and could see the ice edge creeping toward the shallow southern end of the lake. The pattern definitely had the feeling of fingers of ice ‘advancing’ and lovely variations in colour. Sad though, to see the signage warning of the presence of Blue Green Algae that was posted near the end of the summer.
