I thought winter had arrived when I was skiing for the first time on December 6, but that was just a teaser. Climate Change won again! The rest of December was a disappointment – rain and above freezing temperatures gave us a green Christmas, with the green continuing into 2024! Last weekend we finally received a substantial amount of snow, the first snowstorm of 2024.
Callum and I went stomping around in this snow surrounded by beauty everywhere, reminding me of our chanting evenings with Barclay Macmillan. Here is one of his favourite chants taken from a Navajo prayer.
With beauty before me may I walk.
